P2P Messaging & Workflows

In order to send AT&T Gloabl Smart Messaging P2P (Person to Person) messages, users must be provisioned and have the mobile app installed on their devices.

1.Provisioning team creates administrative, company, and mobile user(s) and licenses in the AT&T Gloabl Smart Messaging web portal as needed. Administrator contacts AT&T to provision additional licenses.

2.Company administrator sets up AT&T Gloabl Smart Messaging contacts in the system and establishes settings for encryption and Fall Back to SMS (refer to the Administrative Setup section for details).

3.Users download, install and register the AT&T Gloabl Smart Messaging mobile app. They are now ready to begin sending P2P messages.

Once provisioned with the necessary user accounts and licenses, users become “Contacts” in the system and are ready to begin sending and receiving P2P (Person-to-Person) messages.  P2P refers to messages sent between two mobile devices.
