StaffMatch - Shift Employee

 

Overview

 

This section allows you to set up employee profiles, so that you can quickly identify the right person(s) for a job based on criteria like their availability, skill set, qualifications, and past performance.

 

 

 

 

Click the 'Shift Employee' link in 'Company Setup > StaffMatch' to open the 'Shift Employee' screen (also accessible via 'StaffMatch' tab drop-down menu).

 

View, edit or create your company's shift employee definitions here.

 

 

Description

 

Shift Employee Summary  

                             

 

 

 

 

Create a new shift employee definition.

 

 

Pull employee data into the platform from an external CSV list file.

 

 

Update data at a scheduled frequency from an external CSV list file.

 

 

 

Filter Employees

 

 

Type/paste any desired search criteria to narrow the results.

 

 

Advanced Filter

 

 

Select any further criteria to narrow your results.

 

 

Start searching using the selected filters.

Depending on the status and owner, not all of the below icons may be visible. Left-click icon to perform action.

General Information

 

 

First Name

 

First, or given, name.

 

Last Name

 

Surname, or family name.

 

Phone

 

A mobile or landline phone number. This is a secondary or alternative number which is stored but not used by AT&T GSMS.

 

Fax

 

Optional fax machine number

 

Mobile

Primary mobile number in international format.

 

If this field is not accessible (i.e. greyed-out), it means the employee is also a AT&T GSMS user, and you cannot alter their pre-existing details from here.

 

Driver's License

 

Optional driver's license number.

 

Alias

 

A nickname or alternate name (e.g. if name is Edward Wood Jr, nickname might be 'Ed').

 

Email

 

Primary email address.

 

If this field is not accessible (i.e. 'greyed-out', it means the employee is also a AT&T GSMS user, and you cannot alter their pre-existing details from here.

 

Timezone

 

Select from the drop-down menu. Timezone should match the recipient's location.

 

Currency

 

Select the correct denomination. This is the currency the employee is paid in.

 

Number Plate

 

Optional vehicle license plate number.

 

 

 

Mailing Address

 

 

Street/Suburb

 

The physical street address for correspondence (e.g. 100 Walker Street, North Sydney).

 

City

 

The city or town of residence (e.g. Sydney, New York, London)

 

State

 

The state of residence (e.g. Sydney, New York, London)

 

Country

 

Country of residence (e.g. Australia, United States, Singapore)

 

Zip/Postal Code

 

Mailing zone number or code for the state (e.g. 2060, CA)

 

State

 

The state of residence (e.g. New South Wales, California)

 

 

 

Employee Information

 

 

Employee Number

 

Optional employee identifier.

 

Title

 

Employee's professional title

 

Priority

 

Indicates employee preference level (e.g. priority '1' employees are preferable to priority '2', etc).

 

You can view the priority number of employees when creating a shift order. This allows you to create a basic hierarchy of employees based on criteria like performance, reliability, skills, education etc).

 

Qualifications

 

Select from the list. Any qualifications you have created in the 'Qualifications' section will be listed here (e.g. Diploma, Certificate, Degree).

 

Minimum Shift Hours

 

The shortest amount of time, in hours, that the employee is willing to work at a time (e.g. 4).

 

Maximum Shift Hours

 

The longest amount of time, in hours, that the employee is willing to work at a time (e.g. 8).

 

Employment Type

 

This indicates the category of work employee is interested in.

 

Options are:

 

CASUAL

 

FULLTIME

 

PARTTIME

 

PERMANENTPARTTIME

 

Department

 

Select from the list. The employee is eligible to work within any of the chosen departments

 

Cost Center ID

 

An optional identifier if the employee is linked to a particular cost center.

 

Cost Label

 

An optional identifier if the employee is linked to a particular cost center.

 

Hourly Rate

 

The amount an employee is required to be paid.

 

Shift Role

 

Select from the list. Any roles you have created in the 'Shift Roles' section will be listed here (e.g. Nurse, Administrator, Teacher). This is the actual job title you will be searching for when creating a shift order.

 

Minimum Week Hours

 

The shortest amount of time, in hours, that the employee is willing to work within any given week (e.g. 100, 200).

 

Department

 

Select from the list. The employee is eligible to work within any of the chosen departments.

 

Preferred Department

 

Select from the list. This is the department that the employee would choose to work in before any others, if the option is available.

Preferred Day

Any time periods you have defined in the 'Shift Times' section will be listed here (e.g. Day, Morning, Night). Click the check box next to the day(s) when the employee is normally available for work, under the column which matches their available work hours.

 

e.g. If you tick the check box under heading called 'Morning', which was set up with a start time of 8am and and end time of 12pm, and next to 'Tuesday', this means the employee is available for work every Tuesday between those times.

 

 

 

Once all required fields are complete:

 

 

Store changes and exit

 

 

Undo any changes and exit.
