Home Tab and Dashboards

 

The 'Home' page provides quick access to applications, setup, scheduling and messaging options via the following tabs:

Quick Menu

 

 

This is the default screen which is displayed when a user clicks the 'Home' tab. Click a section link to open.

 

 

 

 

Dashboards

 

 

This section provides several sets of 'at-a-glance' reporting statistics relating to message traffic, as detailed below. Simple SMS messages can be also be sent from the 'Dashboards' screen.

 

 

Messages

 

Users view how all their message types are doing in the real world among their target audience.

 

 

Hovering over and clicking the message count provides a pop-up window displaying the Message Report statistics related to that channel.

 

 

 

Top Cost Centers

Displays message traffic statistics differentiated by separate cost centers, if these are being used. Sent messages in the statistics shall be including the messages with status Sent, Delivered, Failed, Expired.

 

 

Top Users

 

 

Top Source Addresses

Displays a list of handset numbers which messages have been received from.

 

 

 

 

 

Address

 

The originating customer handset number. Users with Platform Administrator level access can click an item to view/edit its details.

 

MO Keyword

 

The preset trigger keyword (if applicable) sent by the customer.

 

Message Type

 

Normally SMS, however other message types may be supported depending on the user licenses held.

 

 

Top Sub Accounts

Displays the top performing Sub-Account based messages.

 

Send an SMS

Send a quick, basic message.

 

 

 

 

Mobile Number

The destination handset number(s) for a quick, basic SMS message. Must be entered in international format, or an error message will be displayed.

 

•e.g. '0491234567' would be typed as '12912345678'

 

If sending to more than one recipient, separate the numbers with a single comma ( , ), no spaces.

 

•e.g. 12912345678,12912345679

Message Text

Type/paste the contents of the SMS you wish to send. This is the message the recipient(s) will receive on their handset. Customization of the message is limited to text only - for more options, create a new SMS from the 'SMS' tab.

 

•Maximum total number of characters is 725. A warning message will be displayed if this amount is exceeded.

 

•Maximum number of characters per SMS is 160. Once this number is exceeded, the character count will be highlighted, and the number of SMS required to transmit the message will be displayed - e.g. , .

 

Note: When Users insert a long URL, MEMS converts it into a short URL (if the short URL is enabled via the Customer Information - Company SMS Preference).

 

 

Note: Replies to 'Quick' SMS messages will be directed according to your Personal SMS Preferences

 

 

Messages

Shows a list of recently used mobile destinations and the associated message exchanges.

 

 

 

 

Label Filter

 

Open drop-down to narrow results by choosing a label, if available.

 

 

 

Please note that each of the sections in the dashboard has a button that allows users to print or save the content available in the window.

 

 

My Schedule

 

 

Calendar view of scheduled orders (e.g. SMS, Email - other types may be visible based on application licenses held). This excludes scheduled reports. Times/dates are displayed according to the user's personal settings. Click 'Month', 'Week' or 'Day' to change view as required.
