Lists are comma-separated variable (CSV) strings separated by line feed characters (0x0a).
The 'Lists' section allows you to collate a set of data (e.g. mobile numbers/names) for intended message recipients, then send messages.
Lists differ from groups in that they do not consist of stored contacts - only the raw information needed to transmit messages. For this reason, lists are an ideal way to quickly transmit broadcasts to a large target audience where the minimum of information is required. They can also be used to trigger messages automatically at regular intervals.
This feature also enables the use of whitelists and blacklists, which can be used to manage subscribe/unsubscribe requests automatically.
