Worked Example Number1
1. Set the 'Open Hours' default to occur 5 minutes into the future.
2. Compose a broadcast to 16 recipients at a batch rate of 1 every 60 seconds. Set 'Timezone Open Hours' to the default (which you have just set up) to end approximately 5 minutes into the future.
3. Launch the broadcast.
4. After a couple of minutes of observing the broadcast statistics, you will see that messages are being transmitted at a frequency of 1 every minute.
5. Once the time exceeds the 'Open Hours' the broadcast will be marked as 'FINISHED', with the 'Messages Sent' count showing the number of messages that were sent prior to the 'Timezone Open Hours' end time being reached.
6. All 11 other messages from the broadcast will have been discarded.
Worked Example Number2
1. Repeat the set up to 'Worked Example Number1' but launch it after the 'Timezone Open Hours'.
2. Launch the broadcast (order)
3. As the order is being executed after the 'Start Time', the messages will be marked as 'Filtered, Pre-Processing' and the order will be set to 'FINISHED'.
Worked Example Number3
1. Set the Open Hours time to the hours you wish to use.
2. Create a broadcast order at a time that is outside your Open time (eg - create a broadcast at 6.05pm when your open time ends at 6pm)
3. Leave the Open Hours option in the broadcast to NO. Launch the Broadcast.
3. The broadcast will be marked as FINISHED with no messages sent or filtered. The messages will be queued to send at the next Open time and will be visible under Personal Information > Messages > Show SMS messages. Messages that are queued cannot be deleted.
