Overview

 

The 'Personal Information' screen enables the user to set up their own details. These details are also associated with their contact information under the 'Contacts' section.

 

Click the 'Personal Information' link in 'Personal Setup > Personal Information' to open the 'Personal Information' screen.

General Information

 

 

First Name

 

User's first name e.g. 'David'. Mandatory field.

 

Last name

 

User's surname e.g. 'White'. Mandatory field.

 

Alias

 

Username for SMPP.

 

Min: 6 characters

Max: 8 characters

 

Locale Language

Users have the options to change AT&T GSMS portal's Locale Language to their preferred choice.

Currently AT&T GSMS supports three languages namely English, Spanish and Portuguese.

 

Note: Currently the Online Help Sets are available only in English(default) language.

Email

 

User's email address. The email address is a mandatory parameter for a user and must be unique on the platform. The email address will also be stored as the username. It may be up to 100 characters in length (including the user's email domain name).

 

Phone

 

The fixed/landline telephone number.

 

Timezone

 

The home timezone where the user is located. This field is mandatory and must be completed.

 

Fax

 

User's fax number.

 

Currency

 

User's home currency.

 

Mobile

 

User's mobile phone number. This field is mandatory, and must be unique on the platform.

 

Parent

 

The parent customer to whom this user belongs.

 

Number Plate

 

User's number plate.

 

Driver's license

 

User's driver's license number.

 

 

 

Address Information

 

 

Street/Suburb

 

The suburb you wish to enter, either workplace or personal address.

 

City

 

The city you wish to enter, either workplace or personal address.

 

Country

The country you wish to enter, either workplace or personal address.

 

Zip/Postcode

 

The postcode you wish to enter, either workplace or personal address.

Free-text field that can be used to enter anything about the user/contact.

 

 

 

Employee Details

 

 

Employee Number

 

A reference provided to you by your employer.

 

Title

 

Job description or job function.

 

Cost Center Label

 

Can be used in reporting group usage together.

 

Cost Center ID

 

A free text field to enter a cost per message (note: this is not currently associated with reporting).

 

 

 

License Details

 

 

The 'License Details' section is limited to be visible to those with Customer Administrator rights only.

 

Username

 

The user's email address (note: this cannot be edited here. If you wish to change the username, you must update your email address, which will in turn update the username. The username may be up to 100 characters in length, including the user's email domain name).

 

Role

The role of the user can be one of three:

 

Platform Administrator - Have full control over the platform. This level of access is retrained by the service provider/operator for the ongoing operation and maintenance of the platform.

 

Customer Administrator - Control over the customer/company that they belong to. This role is to provision all user accounts within a customer/company setup, allocate licenses to users and set up default settings for the use of the AT&T GSMS services.

 

Standard User - a generic user who has authority to use the platform.

 

Active

 

Whether the customer is considered 'Active'. Disabling this checkbox will mean that a customer can not log in.

 

Optin

 

A checkbox to allow the user to opt-in to information updates about the  AT&T GSMS services.

 

Password Expired After 90 Days

 

A check box to force a user to change their password after 90 days.

 

Licenses

 

What licenses a user has associated with their account.
