Overview
Create a AT&T GSMS contact.
Click the 'Address Book' tab at the top of the interface to open the Address Book drop-down menu.
Choose 'Add a new shared contact' or 'Add a new personal contact'.
'Shared' contacts can be accessed by any users belonging to the parent customer, while 'personal' contacts belong to the current user.
There are up to 2 visible tabs (click to jump to section):
General Information - Mandatory contact fields and extra personal information, if needed
Address Information - Optional location information, if needed
Description - Optional free-form content about the contact, if needed
Labels - License required - assign a label to the contact. |

First Name

Type/paste the contact's first name.

Last Name
|
Type/paste the contact's surname.
|
Birthdate

Click

Phone
|
Type/paste an alternate phone number (note: This is NOT the primary mobile number used as the default message destination).

Fax
|
Type/paste the contact's fax number.
|
Mobile
|
Type/paste the contact's primary handset number. This will be used as the default message destination.
Note: This can be a land line or mobile number.

Driver's License
|
Type/paste the contact's driver's license number.
|
New Photo |
Personalize your account by adding a unique photo to the profile.
Note: Image size can be a maximum of 10Kb.

Alias
|
Type/paste an alternate nickname for the contact (if appropriate).
|

Type/paste the contact's email address.
|
Sex
|
Select 'MALE' or 'FEMALE' from the drop-down menu.
|
Time Zone
|
Select the contact's current time zone from the drop-down menu.
|
Currency
|
Select the contact's applicable currency from the drop-down menu.
|
Number Plate
|
Type/paste the contact's vehicle plate number.
|
Owner
|
'Shared Contact' can be accessed by any users belonging to the parent account, while 'My Contact' belongs to the current user. |

Address Type
|
Select 'Work', 'Home', 'Billing' or 'Delivery' as appropriate. 'Work' being the default address type.
|
Street Address
|
Type/paste the contact's street address e.g. 132 Arthur Street.
|
State
|
Type/paste the contact's state e.g. NSW.
|
Zip/Postal Code
|
Type/paste the contact's postcode or zip number e.g. 2061.
|
City
|
Type/paste the contact's city e.g. Sydney.
|
Country
|
Select the contact's country from the drop-down menu e.g. Australia.

Description |
Type any additional information about the contact.
|
Contacts can be assigned a preferred mode of communication. For example: Assign email as the primary contact method to a Contact and an relevant email can be assigned to the same.

Store changes and exit
|
|
Undo any changes and exit.
