The 'New RapidAlert Template' option allows you to define templates that can be selected when you create a New RapidAlert. As soon as you select this template while sending the new alert message, it prefills the message tabs enabling users to send a message with only few clicks.
You may access the ‘New RapidAlert Template’ option from the top menu bar:
Optionally, you may click on 
available on the menu bar of 'Template Summary'.
Steps to Create a New Template:
Lets learn defining templates using simple steps stated below:
1. New Template View & Fields: Click on the 'New RapidAlert Template' option from the RapidAlert dropdown menu. The below page will appear where you can fill in the texts that will be used as a template in the new RapidAlert message. Refer to the fields that will help you configuring the template for RapidAlert.

Template text to be included in the RapidAlert order to be sent. |
Request Response:

If this option is ticked, the template automatically adds a 'request response' text. You may define the text in Request Response Text. |
Request Response Text:

Text that is sent to request a response. Example - 'Please response Y to confirm you are safe'. Please note that currently the system only counts the response and does not process the text that is received. |
2. Save, Edit & Delete Template: Once you fill in the above details, click 
. You will be taken to the 'RapidAlert Template Details' screen where you may view the summary of template you just created.
