1.You need to have customer-administrator privileges to configure LDAP (Active Directory) Plug-in.

 

2.Your account needs to be provisioned with LDAP (Active Directory) Plug-in license. Please contact your Account Executive for more details regarding pricing plan.

 

 

Before you begin utilising LDAP (Active Directory) Plug-in, it is important to learn few important factors:

 

•User must have knowledge of an IT administrator level or must be aware of the basic concepts of LDAP (Active Directory) Plug-in. We have outlined certain concepts in Basic Concepts to help users get started.

 

•Synchronization configuration as explained in Administrative Controls  must be created for the sync to occur. Unless configured and enabled, sync would not be performed.

 

•Once synchronization connections are created, they can be disabled or enabled by the administrators based on system requirements.

 

•Reports are emailed to the administrators after every sync operation. In cases when administrator triggers Forced Sync using the handy button located on the Company Information page, an email report will be sent out.

 

•Protocols available for plugin communication are LDAP, FTP, FTPS & SFTP. We strongly recommend users to setup sync operation using LDAP protocol.
