Users - Import User(s)

 

Overview

 

Import a list of AT&T GSMS users.

 

 

 

Click the 'Users' link in 'Company Setup > Manage Users' to open the 'User Summary' screen.

 

 

Click button in title bar to open the 'New User' screen.

User Import

 

 

Before you can import your user list, follow the on-screen instructions to create a CSV file containing all the required details.

 

To see what details you can map from your CSV columns to the 'New User' fields, refer to Create a New User topic

 

 

 Import Users                                                                                                                                    

 

 

 

Select CSV file on your computer or network drive.

 

 

Import the CSV file.

 

 

Map the data in your file into the actual fields.

 

The options in drop-down boxes are column indexes (starting from 0) combined with the data of the first row from uploaded file.

 

Some drop-down boxes have data that are not from uploaded file, e.g. Time Zone, Currency, Language, etc. These are default properties for all users.

 

Note: Users added / created through the USER IMPORT option, will have the an option to set "Password Expiry after 90 days" option.

 

 

 

 

Create the users in AT&T GSMS.

 

Note that all existing users not in the import file remain untouched.

 

 

 

Note: All temporary passwords sent to users are configured, by default, to expire after 30 minutes - a new password change needs to be initiated at this time.
