Why is my message marked as FAILED/UNDELIVERABLE?

 

You have seen that a message you sent out with delivery reports has been marked as 'FAILED/UNDELIVERABLE'.

 

To check what the message that is marked as 'FAILED' go to:

 

Reports (tab) > Message Report

 

Search for the Mobile number that has failed.

 

You will see two records one with status 'FAILED', the other with 'RECEIVED'.

 

The 'FAILED' Message status relates to the message that you sent out.

 

The 'RECEIVED' Message status relates to the delivery report Message that has been returned from the network saying that it could not deliver the Message.

 

From the Message Report, the action available on that Message (if you have the permission) is to view it.

 

Once you view the Message Details you will see the content.

 

The status that the network has returned is: UNDELIV, with an error, 004.
