Navigate to Company Setup > Quarantine. You will be presented with two options: Quarantine Rule Header (used for defining your parameters) and Quarantine Rule Summary (used for creating and maintaining rules once the parameters are defined).

To define your parameters, select Quarantine Rule Header. You will be presented with the following screen:

Enable Quarantine: A checkbox which defines whether the Quarantine feature is active on your account.
Quarantine Expiry: How long before a quarantined message is marked as "expired", in minutes.
Headers 1 - 4: Parameter settings. You can define parameter names in these fields, up to four parameters are allowed. These parameters will be applied to the Client Message ID field in incoming messages through APIs.
Created By/At and Modified By/At: Shows the user name and time stamp of the user who created the parameters and the last user to modify the parameters.
OK: close the screen
Edit: Make Changes
Delete: Remove the Parameters.
Once your Parameters are set, navigate to Quarantine Rule Summary to set up your Quarantine rules. The main page will display and any existing rules will appear.

To create a new rule, click New in the header bar. You will be presented with the Quarantine Rule Details screen:

Description: This is the name of your rule.
Active: A check-box which activates or deactivates the rule.
Brand, Type, Number and (blank): These are the parameters as defined in your Rule Header screen - they will be named in accordance with the names selected by you. Enter your required keywords to trigger the quarantine in each parameter field. You may enter multiple keywords in a single field if they are separated by a comma.
Save: Saves the rule and returns to the summary screen.
Cancel: Discards your changes and returns to the summary screen.
The editing or deletion of existing rules is also carried out from the rule summary screen. Locate the rule you wish to edit or delete in the rules listing. Use the graphical action buttons in the first column to complete the required action:
will take you to the rule details screen to allow you to edit the rule.
will delete the rule.
To deactivate an existing rule without deleting it, select
to edit and then uncheck the Active checkbox.
