Lists - Mobile List Format

 

Mobile lists are lists that are utilized for broadcasts/orders to deliver SMS messages to.

 

Usage:

 

SMS broadcasts/standard orders

 

Example:

 

<MSISDN>,<VARIABLE  Number1>,<VARIABLE  Number2>,<VARIABLE  Number3>...

<MSISDN>

Mobile number -  Validation checking is executed on the mobile number format without leading international dial prefix such as 00, 0011, +.

 

Example: MSISDN format is 12912345678.

 

Note: if the number is in local/national format, the message will fail.

 

<VARIABLE  Number1>

NO

Variable that will be entered into the broadcast as {2}. This enables the mail merge capability to replace {2} in the broadcast composition with the text passed in the list.

 

<VARIABLE  Number2>

NO

Variable that will be entered into the broadcast as {3}. This enables the mail merge capability to replace {3} in the broadcast composition with the text passed in the list.

 

<VARIABLE  Number3>

NO

Variable that will be entered into the broadcast as {4}. This enables the mail merge capability to replace {4} in the broadcast composition with the text passed in the list.

 

 

 

Restrictions:

 

Mobile list rows should be limited to no more than 4000 characters.

 

There is a limit of 1000 characters in the 'List Presentation' field, which consists of variables from the list.

 

Mobile list file should be limited to 20Mb in size.

 

When using a mobile list in a standard order, the user is limited to 10,000 recipients. Broadcast orders are limited to 1,000,000 recipients.
