The message status in the portal has been replaced for ease of reading. If you view the Message Report you will see the detailed name that is given to the status.

The status is caused by when a MT is sent to SMSC multiple times without getting ack back, and platform decides to abort it.

 

ACCEPTED_BY_CLIENT

 

Received

Message delivered, confirmation of message details received.

 

i.e. Replies from a 'registered delivery' Message.

 

ACCEPTED_BY_CLIENT

Message delivered, confirmation of message details received.

Delivered (From Network) to AT&T GSMS, these messages are inbound (from handset)messages.

Message has been passed from the network to the internal routing of the platform and is pending delivery to a Client application (API).

Message has been passed from the application through the routing layer of the platform and is  is pending delivery to the network.

 

ErrorCode = 'X'

 

Failed

Failure to submit the message toward the SMSC/Operator network.

 

'X' is the SMPP Error Code that is received back on trying to submit it towards the SMSC. This may vary per operator SMSC.

 

Example:

 

ErrorCode = 8, May be 'System Error'

ErrorCode = 11 May be "Invalid Source Address"

ErrorCode = 255, System Failure

Message could not be delivered, a status provided for a message that was unable to be delivered and expired on the Network platform.

 

Only available if Delivery Receipt was requested.

 

FAILED

Message could not be delivered.

FILTERED_IN_CUST_PREF.<listID>

Message is filtered in a company blacklist.

Message is filtered in an order blacklist.

Message not delivered, does not meet required parameters.

Message destined for multiple recipients is broken out into individual messages records for  each of the recipients. The row with this STATUS is the parent, with each message broken out into their own message / rows in table.

 

UNDELIVERABLE

 

Failed

Message could not be delivered, a status provided for a message that was unable to be delivered.

 

 

 

 

If it is a registered delivery - there are 2 items: 'DELIVERED' (means the message is delivered to the handset) and 'RECEIPT' for the registered delivery receipt that Telstra sends. This incurs an extra cost.
